While the Partha Chatterjee-Arpita Mukherjee controversy has been in the headlines for weeks now, both have taken heavy hits from the ED investigation and are visibly dishevelled. Chatterjee, days after his lock-up, was let go by the Trinamool Congress Party, on which he expresses his anguish, by saying that the party has taken a wrong decision and time will tell who the real culprit is. His allegations of being framed in a conspiracy, though, do not appeal to TMC, as spokesperson Kunal Ghosh stated that he can fight for his innocence in a court. As of now, Chatterjee’s roles and ministerial documentations are on a hold with CM Mamta Banerjee.
