After a painful nine-hour long raid at Mumbai house and consistent drilling at ED office, Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate on Sunday midnight. This arrest was done under the money laundering case, in relation to the Patra Chawl scam case, where a hefty amount of money was reproduced from his home. Although the Shiv Sena leader was taken into custody, no arrest has been taken forward as of yet. The chains of this conspiracy go back to Raut’s wife, Varsha Raut, who was found involved in the Patra Chawl scam.
