The voting for the election of the next Vice President has inaugurated at 10 am and will continue on till 5 pm, ascending to which ballot counting will unfold. The nominees standing are Jagdeep Dhankhar nominated by NDA and Opposition’s Margaret Alva. The current VP M Venkaiah Naidu signs off on August 10th. Amongst voters, PM Narendra Modi and former PM Manmohan Singh have been witnessed. All MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have the right to vote in this election.
