The official hindi remake of Forrest Gump starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Laal Singh Chaddha is facing boycotting sentiments on the first day of its release, yet again. The film was lettered to the police to be stopped from running in the Jalandhar theatres by a Shiv-Sena Hind fringe group, stating that Aamir was an anit-Hindu. Meanwhile, another activist group, the Sikh Tal Mel committee faced them off by not letting the screening stop. The film has also been boycotted on twitter before, alleging Aamir’s statements as anti-national.
