On Sunday, Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, after coming across BJP’s social media post of short videos, Congress President Sonia Gandhi made comments upon the ruling party. The clips incorporated the question of responsibility upon Jawahar Lal Nehru during Independence horrors. In alleged response to this, the covid affected minister took to the internet pointing out the wrong in trivialising the struggles of freedom fighters for party politics, continuing that Congress will not tolerate such an act. Jairam Ramesh, exclaimed upon the PM strategically placing August 14th as Independence Horrors Remembrance Day to use it as “fodder for his current political battles”.
