After witnessing the traditional Independence Day speech of the Prime Minister, Home minister Amit Shah applauded the same, implying its effect enough to inspire Indians to look toward a prosperous nation, or “Param Vaibhav Bharat”. He also reinforced light on the PM’s acknowledgement of women empowerment and ridding of corruption as benchmarks to be focused upon. Defence minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the PM for instilling an awareness of a self-reliant India, along with Union minister Piyush Goyal, calling the speech as “invigorating”.
