The fleeing former Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has been alluded to return to his homeland in the upcoming week. Retired envoy to Russia and close acquaintance to Rajapaksa confirmed that he will be returning on August 24th. Current residence of the controversial man is Thailand, after his refuge in Maldives, then Singapore. President Ranil Wikremesinghe has denied to give out any comments on his predecessor’s return.
