The Agneepath Scheme recruitment of Gorkha district’s Nepalese soldiers, previously scheduled to begin from August 25th, has been asked to postpone by Nepal Foreign minister Narayan Khadka to Indian ambassador Naveen Srivastava. The Nepalese army is speculated to have serious concerns in regard to the 4 year retirement plan of the scheme, who according to the tripartite agreement were subjected of 17-18 years of service, long enough to qualify for pension.
