Indian Oil Corp fuels investment of 2 trillion INR in emission eradication

Following the lead of India going emission free by 2070, Indian Oil Corp (IOC) disclosed its plans of investing 2 trillion rupees ($25 billion) in target of emitting net-zero gases by year 2046. Already having planned the road map for ridding emissions from crude refining operations and energy consumption, the oil refiner will be focusing primarily on de-carbonizing 97% of its operations and practicing less bpd by one-third of its original 5 million, which is 2.14 million bpd by 2024-25.
