Of what seems like a halt of monsoon in many regions, peninsular regions of northeast and southern India including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, north Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will witness a five-day long hefty rainfall till Friday. The two regions were bearers of deficient rainfall of 29% and 33%, respectively, for past two weeks. Monsoon trough along the foothills of Himalayas, and cyclonic circulations over Jharkhand and south coastal Andhra Pradesh are perpetrators of the change.
