After receiving so much criticism on his way of laundering nepotism, Karan Johar now receives a production pass from Disney+ Hotstar of a new series called Showtime that will cater to the same storyline. Announced at the Disney fan fest D23 in Anaheim, the show will pertain to the backdrop of Bollywood inside the competition of nepotism v/s outsiders. The show, a Dharma production, is said to share the industry’s “biggest trade secrets”, in Karan’s words himself; meanwhile Emraan Hashmi is the alleged lead role.
