Highly demanded Indian bonds on the growth in global market

With the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) having removed the foreign investment cap over securities that are a part of ‘fully accessible route’ (FAR) in 2020, Indian bonds under the same have been harnessing many foreign investors, gaining investments worth ₹6,600 Crore. Speculations of inclusion of Indian securities, especially the ones under FAR, in the global market are being brewed. Affirming them, Ashish Agarwal, Asia head of foreign exchange said that FAR bonds have “no restrictions”. 7.13% bond yielder Indonesia may have to bear loses with India’s inclusion.
