Catherine Colonna, French foreign minister, will be visiting India this week for the first time after her joining office. The S Jaishankar’s French counterpart expects to reinforce bilateral relations, including counter terrorism, defence, as well as heavier topics like existence of terrorists in the UNSC. Before this year’s mark of the Indo-French partnership 25th anniversary, the minister wants to work more towards global issues along with India. Apart from meets with Jaishankar, Colonna will also be seeing PM Narendra Modi.
