Congress initiative Bharat Jodo Yatra is now commencing from Aluva. With Rahul Gandhi in full enthusiasm, the leader was witnessed sowing a plant at the Union Christian College’s grounds, which he allegedly carried from Lakshadweep, along with paying respectful flower offerings to a 1925 Mahatma Gandhi-planted mango tree at the premise. While a significant portion of the highway was occupied by participants, the morning leg concluded at Angamaly’s Karukutty Kappela Junction, where Gandhi was to address a press conference.
