After the events of arresting many PFI officials by the NIA raid, Popular Front of India (PFI) broke into protests all through Kerala, which turned out to be immensely violent- damaging properties, transport and harming police men, as well as many KSRTC staff. Over 500 people have been taken into custody by the Kerala police. The protests were most violent in the northern regions of Kollam and Malappuram. The court has stated to take suo motu action, specifically under the circumstance of a declaration of 7 days prior protests, which wasn’t met by the PFI.
