While inaugurating the national conference of environment ministers in Gujarat on Friday via conference, PM Modi condemned the actions of “urban naxals” as hindrances created for stopping development in India, alongside blaming international institutions planting and endorsing such ideas. The PM praised the Sardar Sarovar Dam Project as environmental protection and his government’s persistent action for the same. He also talked highly of the green clearance being more efficient, while encouraging state govts to take fast pro-environmental actions.
