An eventful financial year for Tata group subsidiary

Tata Digital has had a three-fold successful financial year FY22, bagging in consolidated revenue of almost ₹16,000 Cr, as compared to the ₹5,315 Cr in FY21. The Tata group subsidiary owns three unicorns as of now; holding over 62% shares of e-pharmacy startup 1mg, the parent company of BigBasket, Supermarket Grocery Supplies Pvt Ltd, and Curefit. Revenues of about ₹7,238 Cr came from BigBasket’s parent. On the flip side, loss of ₹3,051 Cr (almost 5 fold) was witnessed.
