The public-private telecom merge

Privately owned Tata Consultancy Services and public-run BSNL are set to finalize a 2 billion deal (₹16,000 Crore) the first ever merged telecommunications network of 4G across 100,000 towers or locations by early next year, sources aware of the deal say. TCS’s parent company Tejal Networks is partnering along with the governmental telecom communications developer C-DoT, which once successful, will upscale India into the group of telecom technology developed countries like US, South Korea and China.
