After passing comment on how Gujarat produces 76% of the nation’s salt at the civic reception in Gujarat, President Murmu was mocked by Congress on social media. Udit Raj tweeted that the President did “chamchagiri” and no nation should get one like her. Upon this, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla clapped back pinpointing Congress to be disrespectful of the Adivasi community as the President comes from the Adivasi tribe. Congress has previously called Murmu “rastrapatni” and evil too, reminded Poonawalla.
