While addressing at the Shaurya Diwas or Infantry Day (held in memory of soldiers who landed in Budgam airstrip in 1947 Indo-Pak war), defence minister Rajnath Singh challenged the authorities of Pakistan by claiming to take back illegally acquired regions of Gilgit and Balkistan, that come under the PoK. He said that the Indian govt is well aware of the atrocities against the residents of PoK, and that the passed order in parliament 1994 will be acted upon. The Diwas this year celebrated 75th anniversary of 1 Sikh soldier arriving for rescue against Pak invaders.
