Among the hard hits India faced by the South African team, it was the silly passes that costed India the skimpy loss, making the latter win by 137 against their 133. The most shocking instance was Virat Kohli missing a catch of Aiden Markram on the 5th ball of the 12th over, leaving Ashwin visibly disappointed. The second miss was when Captain Rohit Sharma let the easily-seen stumps intact of Mohammed Shami in the 13th over. The player was taken off edge only in the 16th over by Pandya when South Africa had already made a 134, leaving India in the dust.
