Versatile England planning ahead to challenge India

England defeated Sri Lanka in the last cricket game, entering the knockouts, having confirmed India as their semi-finals opponents. Mark Wood commented that a team shouldn’t be a “one trick pony”, rather keep up with versatility and adaptation in dire situations, giving away suggestions of a switched game strategy for India’s upcoming match. The Indian team, having kept its members rigid since the past games, may not witness Dawid Malan, given his injury status. Replacement between aggressive top-order batter Phil Salt or flexibly-versatile fielder and low-order batter Chris Jordan, could both prove to be deadly.
