India’s rocket start-up set to make history

India’s first ever privately-developed rocket will be sent to space between November 12th and 16th, by the start-up company Skyroot Aerospace. The rocket, Vikram-S, is a single stage suborbital test rocket, which will ensure multiple technologies in the upcoming Vikram series of space vehicles. The vehicle, set to being launched from Sriharikota, will be carrying three customer payloads, one of which is foreign non-profit space research lab. The other two pertain to India, one of which is built by another Indian start-up called Space Kidz India.
