One more step towards renewable energy; KKR investment

In the fulfillment of the Indian powerhouse target of generating 450 gigawatts by 2030, the private-equity giant KKR has plans to invest a hefty amount of $400 million in Serentica Renewables. The company provides decarbonized energy for 50% electric-consumption-making commerce and industry. The mission is to install 5000 megawatts of solar and wind panels in several states. KKR has previously worked for renewable investments too, pulling almost $15 billion globally; meanwhile this latest investment is set for its Asia-Pacific infrastructure strategy.
