Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has accused the Central Government of playing dirty politics over the implementation of the ‘Anna Bagya’ rice scheme in the state. During a press conference in Delhi, Siddaramaiah claimed that the Food Corporation of India (FCI) had initially agreed to supply rice to Karnataka but later withdrew their commitment. This happened after the Consumer Supplies Ministry of India sent a letter to FCI. The Chief Minister expressed his disappointment with the Central Government’s actions and criticised them for playing dirty politics.
