TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed party cadres to closely monitor the process of revision of electoral rolls and fight against the entry of bogus voters and removal of TDP voters’ names allegedly by the YSRCP. Naidu accused the YSRCP of resorting to electoral malpractices due to their fear of losing the 2024 elections. He emphasized the need for a close scrutiny of the electoral roll revision process and called for the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) to take action against the bogus voters. Naidu also highlighted instances of the removal of TDP supporters’ names and other irregularities in the voter lists. He urged TDP cadres to educate voters about the malicious campaign by the YSRCP and demanded that the CEO hold negligent officers and staff accountable to prevent discrepancies in the electoral rolls.
