Bollywood diva Parineeti Chopra visited the holy Golden Temple in Amritsar with her fiance, Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha, on Saturday (July 1). The pictures of the couple walking towards the temple premises at the Shri Harmandir Sahib went viral on social media. Parineeti shared pictures from their visit on her Instagram handle and expressed that this visit was even more special with Chadha by her side. Chadha also posted a similar photo on his Instagram account, along with a caption expressing his emotions. BJP spokesperson Mamta Painuly Kale also shared the pictures on her Twitter account and commended the couple for looking great together. In the pictures, Parineeti looked pristine in an ivory kurta salwar and a dupatta covering her head, while Chadha looked handsome in a matching white kurta-pajama and a grey Nehru jacket.

The duo had kept their relationship under wraps despite multiple public sightings, but their engagement ceremony took place on May 13 at the Kapurthala House in New Delhi. The event was attended by high-profile guests, including Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra, who flew down from the US. Politicians such as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and P Chidambaram were also present. The couple is reportedly going to tie the knot in Udaipur.

On the work front, Parineeti will be seen in the upcoming film Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The film is a biopic on the life of Amar Singh Chamkila, a Punjabi music icon who was tragically shot dead at the age of 27.
