Skymet, a private weather forecaster, has released a list of the wettest cities in India on July 4, 2023. Mangaluru in Karnataka recorded the highest rainfall on this day, with 147 mm of precipitation. It was followed by Harnai in Maharashtra, which received 144 mm of rainfall. Kochi in Kerala and Dhubri in Assam also experienced heavy rains, with both cities receiving 121 mm of rainfall. Honnavar in Karnataka and Valparai in Tamil Nadu recorded 88 mm and 83 mm of rainfall, making them the fifth and sixth wettest places in India, respectively.
