Airtel Payments Bank announced its collaboration with Park+ to enable FASTag-based smart parking at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport in Varanasi. This partnership will introduce a parking solution that enables automatic cashless payments, making vehicle movement in the parking zone seamless. By deducting the parking fee payment through the FASTag, the time required to make the payment is reduced. Airtel Payments Bank and Park+ are working together to streamline the payment process and reduce time spent in parking lot queues. The service will soon be available at other city airports as well. Ganesh Ananthanarayanan, Chief Operating Officer of Airtel Payments Bank, expressed the aim to offer a simple, secure, and seamless payment experience to customers. Amit Lakhotia, Founder and CEO of Park+, stated that their aim is to remove parking anxiety for all car owners in Varanasi and expand their smart parking services in the next 3-4 months.
