A day after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan washed the feet of the victim of the Sidhi pee incident and apologized to him, the district collector visited the victim’s house along with other officials. The victim was handed a relief cheque of 5 lakh and another cheque of 1.5 lakh as assistance for building a house. Ramlal Rautel, the Chairman of the state Kol Tribe Development Authority, also visited the victim and assured all help from the government. The victim was taken to the CM’s house in Bhopal where Chouhan washed his feet and expressed regret for the harassment. The CM’s gesture and the financial assistance provided have garnered attention.
