Saudi Muslim Leader to Share Stage with NSA Ajit Doval

Secretary general of Muslim World League, Dr Mohammad Bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, known as a strong advocate for moderate Islam, will address prominent religious leaders, scholars, and academics in New Delhi. He will share the stage with India’s National Security Advisor (NSA), Ajit Doval. The gathering will take place at the India Islamic Cultural Centre. During his speech, Al-Issa is expected to focus on topics such as moderate Islam, dialogue between civilizations, religious tolerance, intercultural communication, non-violence, and religious pluralism. Al-Issa is a well-respected Islamic scholar and reformist. He will arrive in India on Monday and stay until July 15. During his visit, he is also scheduled to meet with the external affairs minister, S Jaishankar, and the minister for minority affairs, Smriti Irani. Al-Issa may also have a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu. Before joining the Muslim World League, Al-Issa served as the minister of justice in the Saudi Arabian cabinet.
