BJP accuses BRS of taking undue credit for proposed RoB in Karimnagar

The BJP district committee has accused the ruling BRS leaders of falsely taking credit for the proposed Road over Bridge (RoB) at Theegalaguttapalli in Karimnagar for political mileage. The BJP functionaries, led by party district president Krishna Reddy, performed ‘Palabhishekam’ to the portraits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay. According to a press release, Mr. Krishna Reddy stated that the RoB was sanctioned under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) scheme (Setu Bandhan program) by the BJP government at the Centre due to the persistent efforts of Mr. Sanjay. Mr. Krishna Reddy further alleged that the BRS leaders ignored the daily struggles faced by road users at the railway level crossing for the past nine years. He claimed that a patient had died in an ambulance after the vehicle was stuck in traffic caused by the closure of the gate at the railway level crossing last week. Additionally, he accused them of laying the foundation stone for the RoB without properly informing Mr. Sanjay, who was away from the town at that time. The event witnessed the presence of various BJP functionaries, including K Srinivas and M Satish.
