ISRO is gearing up for a series of missions following the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 Lander. These include the launch of Aditya-L1, India’s first space-based observatory to study the Sun, and the launch of the climate observation satellite INSAT-3DS. In addition, ISRO is preparing for the test vehicle mission to validate the crew escape system for the Gaganyaan mission. The ambitious NISAR mission, a joint collaboration between ISRO and NASA, is set to map the entire globe and provide valuable data on Earth’s ecosystems, ice mass, vegetation, and natural hazards. ISRO is also planning two unmanned missions as a prelude to the Gaganyaan human space flight mission.
