The Nifty Auto index traded negative around 11:25 AM (IST) on Friday in a weak market. Samvardhana Motherson International, TIINDIA, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Bosch were among the top gainers. Sona BLW Precision Forgings, TVS Motor Company, Hero MotoCorp, Bharat Forge, and Bajaj Auto were the top losers on the index. At the time of writing this report, the Nifty Auto index was down 0.24% at 15421.6. The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 78.2 points at 19308.5, while the BSE Sensex was down 242.47 points at 65009.87. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green while 39 were in the red. Shares of Jio Financial Servic, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, and GMR Infra were the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Ind-Swift Labs, Virescent Renewable, KFIN Technologies, Gabriel India, and Kaynes Technology In hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Sadhana Nitro, Shrenik, Penta Gold, Zeal Global Services, and SRG Housing Fin hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
