Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar once again denied a split in his party, stating that while some MLAs have left, it does not mean the entire political party has split. Pawar emphasized that he is the national president of the NCP and Jayant Patil leads its state unit. He criticized the BJP-led central government and expressed opposition to their alleged misuse of central probe agencies. Pawar also mentioned the upcoming meeting of the opposition INDIA alliance to discuss the review of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and joint campaigning. He highlighted that there has been a change in Maharashtra and the people are disappointed with those who allied with the BJP. Pawar concluded by criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not wanting local body elections and only thinking about the Lok Sabha elections.
