Police have filed a chargesheet at a fast-track National Investigation Agency court in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against eight top terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), who are presently operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The accused, including commanders, were running terror modules in the district and other parts of Jammu division. The terrorists had been constantly attempting to lure local youth into joining their ranks. The chargesheet was filed to shed light on their activities and to keep terrorism in check in the region.
