The Sathanur police have recovered a cache of crude bombs associated with Sachin Kumar, a 28-year-old notorious bomb-maker, who was arrested earlier this month. The discovery was made after Sachin injured his hand in an accidental explosion. The police successfully defused the crude bombs with the help of the bomb disposal squad. They are currently attempting to track down one of Sachin’s key associates named Jeevan, who is currently evading arrest.
Sachin and his family own a pork shop in the village and also possess a piggery in Harobele. It is alleged that Sachin used these crude bombs to hunt wild boars. The bombs, hidden in food, were used to attract the boars. When the animals bit into the food, the bombs would detonate, causing their demise. Sachin learned the art of making low-intensity explosives from his father, who also used to manufacture them for hunting wild boars.
After sustaining burn injuries in the accidental explosion, Sachin is currently recovering. The police are eagerly awaiting his recovery to gather more information about the source of the explosives. Further investigations into the case are ongoing.
