India’s Border Roads Organisation (BRO) Director General Rajeev Chaudhry has boldly declared that India will surpass its neighbor China in terms of development along the border within the next two to four years. In an interview with ANI, Chaudhry stated that a decade ago, India’s approach to infrastructure development along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) was defensive. However, the present government has adopted a proactive policy, resulting in a substantial increase in budgetary support for developing infrastructure across the border. Chaudhry believes that within the next two to four years, India will forge ahead of China in terms of road networks, bridges, tunnels, and airfields along the border.
