JCB, the construction equipment manufacturer, has revealed its plans to introduce hydrogen-powered vehicles for commercial use in the UK. While the vehicles are yet to be deployed commercially, JCB is already utilizing them on a pilot basis for some of its off-road machines such as backhoe loaders. The company aims to leverage hydrogen fuel cell technology to reduce emissions and contribute to a greener future. Although there is still work to be done before the vehicles are ready for mass production, JCB’s hydrogen-powered vehicles are making significant progress in becoming a reality.
