The Special Operations Teams (SOT) of Cyberabad, along with the law and order police, apprehended two interstate gangs involved in smuggling marijuana from Hyderabad to Maharashtra. In the first case, a gang from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana was arrested. The accused were caught with a country-made firearm, ammunition, a large quantity of marijuana, and two cars. The main receiver and supplier are still at large. In the second case, two suppliers from Maharashtra were apprehended. They were smuggling a significant amount of marijuana in a truck. The supplier recruits drivers to transport drugs across state borders. The police have seized the contraband and arrested the accused in both cases.
