Love was in the air when ‘Jawan’ director Atlee and actor Vijay Sethupathi joined Shah Rukh Khan at an event to celebrate the film’s success and expressed their admiration for the Bollywood superstar. Atlee, who made his Hindi cinema debut with the blockbuster film, described ‘Jawan’ as his love letter to Shah Rukh Khan. Despite playing the chief antagonist in the film, Vijay Sethupathi praised the director, the team, and especially Shah Rukh Khan. He recounted receiving calls from fans in Chennai who couldn’t get tickets for the movie’s first-day, first-show. The actor expressed his love for Shah Rukh Khan and the way he treated people. Shah Rukh Khan reciprocated the love and jokingly proposed to Vijay Sethupathi. Atlee, known for his Tamil blockbusters, spoke about his approach to filmmaking and how he presented elements from life and people around him in his movies. He praised Shah Rukh Khan for taking a risk with the Rs 300 crore project during the COVID-19 pandemic.
