Aqib Ahmed Renzu, a corporator of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, was arrested on Saturday on charges of sexual harassment, outraging modesty, and online stalking. The arrest was made based on strong technical evidence provided by the victim. The case has been registered at RM Bagh police station under relevant sections of the law. Srinagar Police informed about the arrest through a post on X (formerly Twitter). Further investigation into the case will be conducted by the authorities.
