Former Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu Emphasizes the Need for Peaceful Protests

Former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu stressed the importance of prioritizing peace during an event in Chennai. Speaking at the launch of the mid-day meal scheme to skill trainees supported by the Akshay Patra Foundation, Naidu expressed concern over protests that have turned into violent demonstrations and resistance. He urged protesters to engage in peaceful demonstrations that do not obstruct or damage public and private property. Naidu presented the Harijan Bandh awards to 10 individuals and unveiled portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, Acharya Vinoba Bhave, and Didi Nirmala Deshpande.
