Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan addressed a public meeting in Avanigadda, Krishna district, as part of his Varahi Vijaya Yatra. During the meeting, he stated that his party, in collaboration with the Telugu Desam Party, would form the next government in Andhra Pradesh. Kalyan confidently claimed that the YSR Congress Party, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, would face defeat in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls, estimating that they would not win more than 15 seats. He further criticized Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for the government’s failure to conduct recruitment exams for teachers. Despite his ambitions for power, Kalyan asserts that his primary objective is the betterment of the people and the state’s future.
