Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused ‘family-based’ BRS and Congress of stalling the progress of Telangana, alleging their association with corruption. During his visit to Mahbubnagar, Modi inaugurated infrastructure schemes worth ₹13,500 crore. He also announced the establishment of a National Turmeric Board, highlighting India’s status as the largest producer, consumer, and exporter of turmeric. Modi claimed that Telangana wants a change in government, seeking a clean and efficient administration. He criticized the Congress party’s governance as a private limited company, controlled by a single family, where key positions are held by family members. Modi stated that the BJP is dedicated to improving the lives of the people. He reached out to women voters by mentioning Parliament’s passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill and highlighting government schemes such as the Ujjwala LPG scheme, PM Awas Yojana, and Mudra Loan Yojana. Modi assured that the central government is committed to the development of Telangana.
