A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding car at the checkpost of Mumbai International Airport, according to the Mumbai Police. The injured official, identified as Rahul Sharma, was checking cars at the airport when a car allegedly came at full speed and hit him. Five people in the car have been handed over to the police, and the driver has been detained. Rahul Sharma has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case against the driver under the Indian Penal Code sections 279, 338 and the Motor Vehicle Act. Further investigation is underway.
