Munish Sharma has always aspired to be an actor. However, he faced numerous challenges and opportunities were scarce, until he got a role in the Malayalam film, Ramachandra Boss & Co, where he plays the antagonist opposite Nivin Pauly. This breakthrough in the south film industry has been a thrilling experience for Munish. Prior to this, he had worked in a crime thriller web series called Blindfold. Munish’s journey as an actor began with theatre, where he collaborated with renowned directors and acted in short films. He then ventured into the world of fashion and ramp walks. Despite financial constraints, Munish pursued his passion for acting and even became a successful casting director. However, he felt a void and decided to shift his focus back to acting. Munish got involved in various projects, including cameos in films and web series. It was during this time that he auditioned for the role in Ramachandra Boss & Co, and to his delight, he was selected as the antagonist. Munish played the character of Amar Madhav, a spoilt and rich psychopath. Although he had no commonalities with the character, Munish worked diligently and even learned the dialogues in Malayalam. The film’s release brought Munish recognition, and he appreciated the support and humility of the cast and crew, especially Nivin Pauly. Munish’s journey as an actor has been one of perseverance, sustainability, and a little stroke of luck. He believes that one role can lead to more opportunities in the acting industry and is eager to explore further roles and projects.
