Indians now represent over 10 per cent of all visa applicants worldwide, according to the US Mission in India. The surge in applications from India has made them the largest group of visa applicants globally. Among the Indian applicants, 20 per cent are students and 65 per cent are seeking employment. This increase indicates the growing interest and opportunities that Indians are seeking abroad.
