The AIADMK has criticised the Puducherry government for sealing a room that was used by former Minister S. Chandira Priyanga at the Puducherry Legislative Assembly. The room was sealed after her removal from the Council of Ministers. Party secretary A. Anbalagan, in a statement, questioned why the government had sealed the room used by Ms Priyanga for official purposes. He alleged that the government’s decision to seal the room implied that there were secret things hidden inside. There has been no official explanation from the office of the Chief Minister or Speaker on the reason for sealing the room.
