Delhi High Court dismisses plea against Nidhi Chhibber’s appointment as CBSE chief

The Delhi High Court has dismissed a plea challenging the appointment of senior bureaucrat Nidhi Chhibber as the chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), stating that she has the necessary qualifications for the role. The court ruled that the petition filed by the Independent School Federation of India was a gross misuse of law as there was no prima facie case against Chhibber. The decision affirms Chhibber’s appointment as the chairperson of CBSE.
